5 THINGS TO DO IN WARSAW

1. You have got to try these traditional Polish dumplings. They come either boiled or fried, I tried both and they're both equally as amazing. Spinach and cheese were outstanding and the meat ones... well the 'meat' was questionable - I couldn't tell you what was inside - but it sure tasted good.

2. You can't miss this beauty of a building. When we visited we were lucky enough to see a giant game of tetris being played live on the windows. My inner geek definitely came out that night as we spent hours drinking beer and watching flashing windows.

3. Then there is the giant flower rainbow, which is now guarded 24/7 by security after it was set alight one too many times. If you get the chance there is an amazing little breakfast cafe across the road which does the best fresh bread and pastries.

4. Again swaying back to the topic of food but the street markets are so GOOD! The fresh blueberry buns are a must, as are the juice stalls. I can't go so far as to recommend a flavour as the wee chap serving us hadn't the slightest clue what was in which.

5. Hammocks, so many hammocks. Doesn't get much better than swinging in one, listening to live music, and drinking ridiculously cheap Polish beer. You'll find them everywhere, the beach/lake, the city centre or hidden away in a suburban area like this little treasure.

UNTIL NEXT TIME POLAND

PLAYIN CATCH UP

APRIL: I BECAME A CRAAZY CAT LADY AND WELCOMED NOVA TO THE FAMILY

....we can blame her for my lack of blogging. I'm too busy wrestling her for my underwear in the mornings or trying to get  her out the shower. Yes, this little horror is 1 in a million, she is a kitten that actually enjoys splashing about in water! I'm leaving her for the first time on Thursday to stay with my parents, so we shall see how much they love the early morning wake up calls (usually loud prrrr'ing and a tail to the face).

MAY: I FELL IN ABSOLUTE LOVE WITH MY NEW JOB AS A DRESSER

...For a month I gave up everrrrry night of the week (bar sundazeee) to dress the biggest bunch of beauties going. The cast of the national WICKED tour. Finally I understand the #ilovemyjob hashtag, I learned so much from this experience, from what the hell a wing is, to how to dress someone in the wing in 0.374940 seconds.

JUNE: I ATE ALL THE CARBS BEFORE MARBS, DURING, AND AGAIN AFTER

...Holiday Countdown:
3 months to go -  Eating super healthy and pretttty much living in the gym
3 weeks to go -  Eating everything and couldn't tell you where my gym card is

I keep telling myself the next time will be different but then Domino's go and start these giant garlic dip pots. WOW, yes, let's take a moment. Why did it take so long for these to become a thing? AMAZZZZZZZZING. So here's hoping August will come with not only a lot more blog posts, but hopefully some self disipline in the kitchen dept. too.

MONDAZE

Monday's are for dreaming of that unrealistic ASOS basket. This week's favourite pieces include overly ripped jeans that are torn in such an awkward 'why not just wear shorts' way I can't help but love them. Despite feeling like one of the three blind mice whenever I wear round glasses, I live in hope that I'll find a pair that suit me one day. Perhaps these Vivienne Westwood beauties?

I'm also embracing the cow girl feels with fringing this season and keeping my eyes peeled for a nice black fringed Kimono. I desperately need something to replace my go to black leather jacket over the warmer months, so if you can recommend anywhere for me to check - please do!
